No. S.R.O. 53-L/85.-- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 46(1)(a) of the Income Tax Ordinance, 1984 (XXXVI of 1984), the  National Board of Revenue is pleased to specify the entire  Chittagong Hill Tracts Region except the areas within five miles of the international border as “Special Economic Zone”. [No. 6(36)T-III/83]
